"Serve one another in love!" Galatians 5:13 |
Getting your hands dirty in acts of loving service is part of the spiritual life, and there are many opportunities to do so at Trinity. |
Here's a list of some of theose opportunities. Why don't you join us? Let's get to know each other and see where you might fit! |

"I was hungry and you fed me." Matthew 25:35 Trinity's Food Shelf committee gathers regular donations of food and money to help stock the Salvation Army East Side Food Shelf as well as sponsoring special food drives througout the year. Our church board also sponsors periodic service at the Feed My Starving Children organization which prepares meals for the hungry around the world. |

| Good morning - welcome to Trinity! |
Yes, first impressions are important. If you felt welcomed when you visited it probably began at the door with one of Trinity's greeters, or perhaps it was that usher who helped you find your way. If a visit and a gift bag at your home or an invitation to one of our hospitality dinners helped you decide Trinity was the place for you; and you want to make others feel as welcome, perhaps you'd enjoy involvement in our visitor welcome and assimilation ministry.

I will sing praise to your name O Most High!" Psalm 9:2
"Trinity is one of the few churches around that still has a choir ministry! But what's more, our choirs (children's and adult) are often accompanied by a full orchestra (or smaller ensembles), handbells, or a praise band. If you want to be involved in a music ministry that chershes a full range of traditional and contemporary forms of expression Trinity may have a place for you. |

The World is at our doorstep! Have you wanted to reach out for Christ cross culturally? Trinity has over 100 years history of overseas missions around the world with families from our congregation still being sent out as career and/or short term missionaries. Maybe you can't go but can help our Missions Committee plan our annual missions conference in the fall. In addition to this Trinity is currently in the forefront of ministry to the KaRen people of Burma - the latest wave of refugees to settle in the St. Paul area. You can help them to learn English, adjust to America, and hear the Good News! |

"Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them..." Matthew 19:14 The foundations for faith and life are established in childhood. For that reason our children's ministry - Kids of the Kingdom - offers a variety of ministries to assist parents in the discipling of their children including: a full Sunday school ministry and summer Vacation Bible School. In addition, our nursery is state of the art and full of babies! We run a full time preschool within our building; and our Sarah's Friends minsitry provides tutoring and reading help at a local elementary school. Do you have a heart for children? |

"They... ate together with glad and sincere hearts." Acts 2:46 Eating together is a notable part of the communal life of God's people. At Trinity we still have an all church supper on Wednesday nights. Preparing food for that as well as for innumerable other occasions is the work of our Kitchen Crew. Do you find joy in providing this type of fellowship? If so maybe this is the place for you! |

"Pure religion..." James 1:27 At the very heart of Christianity is the care for the vulnerable of our society. We do not focus solely on the young but remember the very aged in our midst, especially those in the Maplewood Good Samaritan Nursing Home where we assist with a Sunday morning chapel service twice a month. |

"As iron sharpens iron..." Proverbs 27:17 We realize that ministry is sometimes more effective when it is tailored either to men or women. For that reason our Women's Ministries team plans a variety of spiritual and social events and activities for Trinity's women. But Minnesota is also a great place to enjoy the outdoors and many of our men are part of Trinity's Rod, Bow, & Gun Club. |

The Prayer Driven Church Trinity is growing in its vision of the place and power of prayer in the Christian life and ministry. We have several venues of corporate prayer available for intercessors. The Upper Room prays for God's power during the Sunday morning message. REFRESH! meets the first Wednesday of each month as a church wide concert of prayer. The Prayer Shawl ministry is a women's prayer group that prays for those in need as they knit or crochet a shawl for that person's comfort. These are just a few opportunities in our expanding ministry of prayer. |

Got tools? The Building and Grounds committee supervises and carries out special projects at Trinity which are beyond the scope of regular custodial work. The Monday Morning Men provide basic maintenance and upkeep. Are you hand with your hands? Come and help! |
