Our school provides enriching experiences for preschool children within a distinctly Christian framework in the following areas; social, emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual. Christ is an integral part of each staff person’s life enabling them to love each child as a unique person. We have been serving children and families for over 40 years as an outreach program of Trinity Baptist Church.

We maintain an environment conducive to the development of the whole child. This includes an emphasis on building a child’s healthy self concept, helping the child gain self confidence in trying new tasks, giving the child an opportunity to develop skills in interacting with peers, and encouraging the child to listen and follow directions in a large group.

The curriculum is developed by the teaching staff, enabling them to tailor it to each group’s unique blend and needs. Age appropriate Biblical, Christmas and Easter stories are included in the curriculum.

The daily schedule includes a balance of free choice activities and teacher directed activities. Time is scheduled for the child to pursue activities of their own interest. Activities that will enhance the child’s curiosity, increase their interest in exploring new activities, and help develop those skills that will be needed in their formal schooling are provided. Group time is also scheduled to give the child experience in listening for and following directions thereby gaining skills in screening out visual and auditory distractions.

INFORMATION FOR ADMISSION

We accept children of any race, color or creed to the limit of our capacity. Children need to be toilet trained and independent in the bathroom at the beginning of school.

Age: Children who have had their ---

THIRD birthday before October 1 of the school year--- 3 year-old class;

FOURTH birthday before September 1 of the school year--- 4 year-old class.

Duration: Mid September – Mid May

Class size: Maximum of 20 children in a class with two teachers (4’s)

Maximum of 16 children in a class with two teachers (3’s)

REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION LEADING TO ENROLLMENT:

1. Completed Registration Form (blue form)

2. Both sides of the Emergency Form completed and signed

3. $50 non-refundable enrollment fee

If your plans change after your child has registered and been enrolled, please call

as soon as possible to open space for other children.

HEALTH SUMMARY:

State Law requires that a Health Care Summary (yellow form) signed by a Physician, Associates, or Clinic, be on file by the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.

NEW STUDENTS -- The Health Summary may be returned at any time,

separate from the other forms but must be in by the first day of school.

RETURNING STUDENTS -- All forms must be completed except the

Health Summary. The current one will be attached to the new forms, unless there have been changes over the summer.

TUITION:

• Tuition for the entire year is $900 for the 2-day class -- $1,260 for the 3-day class.

• Monthly payments are: $100 per month for the 2-day class

$140 per month for the 3-day class

• First months tuition is due on the first day of school and monthly payments thereafter are due on the first of each month.

** A late fee of $10 will be added if payment is not received by the10th of the month.

• Tuition for the second child (youngest) from one family will be 10% off of the full tuition ($90 per month for 2 day or $126 for 3 day)

PRESCHOOL ORIENTATION -- MEET YOUR TEACHER

Just before school starts in September we hold a Preschool Orientation day. Parents and the enrolled child are scheduled for a time to meet the teachers and see the rooms. You will receive information in August about the date and time for your Orientation.
