It is our values that guide and direct our decision making at Trout. Therefore, as a Christian camping organization, we look to what we value as a road map of how to do ministry because our values were shaped from Biblical principles. Out of our love for Jesus we passionately desire, as observed through decades of faithful ministry, to accomplish our mission by living out these values day in and day out.

The Minnesota-Iowa Baptist Conference is a dynamic network of over 180 churches. Our immigrant Swedish roots give us a foundation of nearly 150 years of ministry in the Midwest. Yet our evangelical passion, biblical theology and contemporary worship styles have made our churches an attractive option for families looking for something solid, yet something exciting.

“Converge Worldwide” is the Baptist General Conference’s new missional name. Our focus is to Connect, Ignite and Transform: “connecting churches and leaders to spiritually ignite movements of transformational churches.” When we use the word Converge, we picture the process of connecting God’s people to God’s purposes so that communities around the world might be impacted by Christ’s love and truth. Converge Worldwide is like a nickname. We will still be the Baptist General Conference and use our movement name in ministry settings and partnerships where it will help us to better advance our mission.
Bethel Seminary is a world-class evangelical seminary offering eight master of arts degrees, a master of divinity degree, a doctor of ministry degree, nine graduate-level certificates, and a post-graduate certificate. Bethel University is a ministry of the churches of the Baptist General Conference.
